Why has this applied managerial science had such mixed impact in RSA? Perhaps because we wanted the benefits & the results without instilling the disciplines first – take “Housekeeping” (or more accurately, “Workplace Organisation”) for example…how do we expect to sustain process productivity improvements if we can’t keep the floor professional? We need to get the basics right – then improvements will start to flow…
